Description
5kg Tarallini di Monopoli with chili and ancient grain - spicy - for zero-waste catering
Taste & Use
Taralli are typical savory snacks from Apulia, Italy's sunny region, which are dipped into wine or eaten with wine. Taralli are the quintessential appetizer in Southern Italy!
The production of this ideal appetizer is relatively elaborate despite its simplicity. A smooth dough is kneaded from flour, BIO olive oil from sole e gusto, white wine, and—depending on preference—fennel, rosemary, or chili. The ring-shaped taralli are boiled in a large pot of salted water until they rise to the surface. Then, they are baked in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
The taralli are slightly salty
