Taralli are typical appetizer crackers from Apulia, the sunny region of Italy, which are dipped in wine or eaten with wine. Taralli are the quintessential appetizer snack in Southern Italy!

Despite their simplicity, the production of this ideal appetizer snack is relatively elaborate. A smooth dough is kneaded from flour, sole e gusto's [olive oil], white wine, and, depending on preference, fennel, rosemary, or chili. The ring-shaped taralli are boiled in a large pot of salted water until they rise to the surface. They are then baked in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

The taralli are slightly salty. These were produced in connection with the partnership between Lyss and Monopoli, where we originate from.
